One-Hour: Process is a conversation series developed and co-hosted by Tiffany Kimmel of Nihil Declarandum and Bill Macomber of Fancy Film. Its aim was to build an intentional community of filmmakers and cross-disciplinary artists in East Los Angeles and provide filmmakers with organic networking opportunities in a supportive environment. The conversation series slowly evolved into Rough | Impact.
Rough | Impact is an ongoing screening series held at Fancy Film intended to support filmmakers looking to build community support for their projects in Los Angeles from fine cut through festivals and distribution. Rough | Impact gives late-stage documentary filmmakers a room of engaged viewers before their film is locked, with a guided discussion focused on finishing, festivals, outreach, and distribution planning.
